Skillet Wax

A food-safe seasoning wax for cast iron cookware. Applied cold and activated by heat, it bonds to the iron surface to build a natural, durable seasoning layer that improves with every use. Pans, griddles, Dutch ovens — anything cast iron that needs feeding and protecting. No synthetic ingredients, nothing you wouldn’t want near your food.

After washing and fully drying your cast iron, apply a very thin coat with a cloth or paper towel across the entire surface including the outside and handle. Place in a hot oven or over a flame until the wax smokes off and bonds. Leave to cool before storing. Repeat to build seasoning over time.
