Pack Wax Block

A heavy-duty waterproofing wax for traditional canvas, waxed cotton and full-grain leather gear.

Built around a high beeswax and carnauba load with pine resin for serious water resistance, kokum butter and lanolin to keep the fabric or hide supple, and a touch of castor oil to help it work in cleanly. The heavier counterpart to Nordic Wax — for canvas packs, traditional tents, leather hats, sheaths, boots and anything that needs a proper protective layer between it and the weather.

Work the wax into clean, dry fabric or leather with a cloth or your fingers. For canvas and waxed cotton, warm the surface gently with a hairdryer or in the sun to help the wax melt and penetrate. Buff to finish. Reapply when water stops beading.
