A lighter waterproofing wax for technical outdoor fabrics — Fjällräven G-1000, halyard cloth, ventile, and modern poly-cotton blends used in shell jackets, packs and field clothing. Heavier waxes clog and stiffen these weaves.
Nordic Wax is built to refresh the water-repellent finish without weighing the fabric down. A high beeswax base with carnauba for durability and castor oil for clean penetration, kept deliberately simple.
Work the wax into clean, dry fabric with a cloth. Warm the surface gently with a hairdryer or in the sun to help the wax melt and bond into the weave. Buff lightly to finish. Reapply when water stops beading on the surface.
