Komorebi — the Japanese word for the dance of sunlight through leaves beneath a forest canopy. This nourishing finishing oil draws on centuries of Japanese woodland craft, blending two ancient oils: Egoma, pressed from perilla seed, and Tsubaki, drawn from the camellia flower. Wild pine resin gathered from the forest floor completes the blend.

Applied to carved and whittled wood, it soaks in deeply and cures to a rich golden-amber finish that protects, preserves and quietly enhances the beauty of the grain. For spoons, bowls, handles and any piece worth finishing properly.

Apply a generous coat with a cloth or your fingers and work into the grain. Leave to cure fully between coats — patience here is worth it. Repeat until the wood is satisfied.

Available in 100ml and 30ml with dropper.

Ingredients: Egoma oil (perilla seed), tsubaki oil (camellia), pine resin (colophony), vitamin E oil.
