Heritage Bug Salve

Inspired by Horace Kephart’s Camping and Woodcraft and the historic bug dopes that woodsmen carried long before aerosols existed.

Heritage Bug Salve is a natural insect repellent balm with zero DEET and no harmful chemicals — just a considered blend of essential oils with well-established repellent properties, carried in a skin-friendly base of jojoba, shea, kokum butter and beeswax. It smells of the outdoors rather than a laboratory, and it works.

Apply to exposed skin before heading out — wrists, neck and ankles particularly. Reapply every couple of hours or after swimming.

Ingredients: Jojoba oil, kokum butter, shea butter, sweet almond oil, citronella essential oil, lavender essential oil, lemongrass essential oil, peppermint essential oil, lemon eucalyptus essential oil, beeswax, vitamin E oil.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
